Making puppets

Making puppets can be great fun and an excellent way to practise English with your children. Here are our top tips for making puppets.

  • Puppets provide many opportunities for practising English with children.
  • You can make the puppets together using old socks or wooden spoons.
  • Talk about the different stages of the craft as you are making it.
  • Use the finished puppets for dialogues or acting out stories.
  • Your children can even make invitations and tickets for the puppet show!
