Bullying hurts people's feelings. It's unkind. It's unfair. But it doesn't have to be this way.
If we challenge it, we can change it. And it starts by reaching out.
Reach out, because everyone deserves respect.
No one should suffer and be made to feel alone.
We are more powerful as a team.
Let's choose to use our power for good and ask when we need help.
When we reach out, we can make a difference.
Reach out when you see it, you notice it, you think it, you feel it, you share it.
Reach out to parents and carers, friends, teachers, school staff, me, you.
Reach out by noticing, talking, supporting, asking 'Are you OK?', respecting everyone, checking in, checking in again.
And it's not just us, it's everyone. It's all of us together.
Reach out if you see bullying happening or if you are being bullied.
Together we can make a big difference.
So what are you waiting for?
Let's make sure no one gets bullied.
How will you reach out today?
