I love finding out how astronauts travel in space in their spacesuits. But do you know how to make your own astronaut helmet? Let's find out.

Astronaut helmet.

Draw around a plate to make the astronaut helmet shape.

Then draw a rectangle for the visor.

Cut out the helmet shape.

Ask a grown-up to help cut out the hole to make the visor.

Glue strips of tinfoil to the helmet.

And glue a plastic sheet on the back to cover the visor hole.

Glue a strip of black card along the bottom.

Stick on green and red circles to make the buttons.

Then stick a lollipop stick onto the back to hold it with.

Decorate your helmet.

Three, two, one. We're ready for lift-off.
