Too big, too small

We can use too + adjective to say when something is more than we want.

The music at the party was too loud.
I'm too young to drive.
It's too hot in here.

How to use it

We usually use too + adjective to talk about things we don't like.

It was too hot on holiday. I didn't like it.
The homework is too difficult. I can't do it.
I want to play basketball but I'm too small.

Use very + adjective to talk about good things.

It was very hot yesterday. I liked it!
The game is very difficult, so I can play it for hours!
I'm very small so I usually win when we play hide and seek!
